FUN FIX – Terms of Service

§ 1 Scope and Provider

(1) These Terms of Service apply to the use of the FUN FIX mobile app and related services provided by:

(2) Conflicting terms of users or partners are not accepted unless explicitly agreed in writing.

§ 2 Service Description

FUN FIX is a mobile platform for spontaneous leisure activities, same-day meetups, and special events. Users can show interest in suggestions, enroll in specials, chat with matched groups, use meeting-point features, and access additional digital features that may be offered inside the app.

§ 3 Definitions

• Suggestions: Activity ideas where users can show interest.
• Specials: Planned activities or events that require separate enrollment.
• Matching: An automated process, assisted where needed by product logic and AI-supported systems, that groups users based on interests, availability, favorites, profile signals, and other relevant context. The internal providers or model versions used for that support may change over time.

§ 4 Registration and Account

(1) Users may start with an anonymous account created through Firebase Authentication. Optional upgrades via email, Google, or Apple sign-in may be used for account access and recovery.

(2) Users must choose an avatar and a username. Additional profile details such as age, gender, languages, or profile text are optional, but may improve the service.

(3) Users may delete their account through the available account-deletion flow. FUN FIX may suspend or remove accounts in cases of misuse, safety concerns, or violations of these terms.

§ 5 User Conduct

(1) Users must comply with applicable law and respect the rights, safety, and dignity of other users.

(2) Harassment, discrimination, spam, impersonation, unlawful behavior, misuse of the service, or attempts to manipulate the matching or communication systems are prohibited.

(3) Violations may lead to warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, account deletion, or further legal action where appropriate.

§ 6 Matching, Activities, and Chats

(1) Matching is automated and depends on current demand, preferences, availability, and system rules. FUN FIX does not guarantee that a match will take place at a specific time or at all.

(2) Groups are generally formed only once enough compatible participants are available. Group size, timing, and duration may vary by feature or event type.

(3) Chats and related communication features are provided to support coordination around matches and activities. Access to those chats may be limited in time.

§ 7 Ratings, Favorites, and Reports

(1) After matches or interactions, users may rate, favorite, block, or report other users where the feature is available.

(2) Ratings, reports, and related trust or safety signals may be used internally to improve future matching, moderate the service, and protect other users.

(3) Repeated negative behavior or serious reports may result in restrictions or account measures under § 5.

§ 8 Favorites and Pings

Users may add other users to favorites and send pings or similar notifications where the feature is available. These interactions may influence visibility, coordination, or matching behavior inside the service.

§ 9 Location and Meeting-Point Features

Users may use location-related features, including meeting-point suggestions and location-based context. Daily limits or other usage limits may apply to protect the service against spam or misuse.

§ 10 Paid Features

(1) FUN FIX may offer paid digital features, especially supporter subscriptions and one-time token packs.

(2) Purchase-specific rules, including billing, renewals, cancellation, restore flows, and token-pack handling, are governed by the Terms of Purchase.

(3) The exact price, billing period, and included digital benefits are the ones shown in the app and the relevant app store at the time of purchase.

§ 11 Rights to User Content

(1) Users retain their rights in the content they provide.

(2) Users grant FUN FIX a non-exclusive right to store, process, reproduce, and display submitted content to the extent necessary to operate the app, provide matching and communication features, moderate content, process support requests, and deliver requested AI-supported features such as AI avatar generation or AI-supported suggestion creation.

(3) FUN FIX does not claim a general right to reuse user content for advertising or promotion unless this is separately agreed, separately consented to, or otherwise legally permitted.

§ 12 Liability

(1) FUN FIX provides a platform for matching, coordination, and related digital features. FUN FIX is not responsible for how users behave during real-world activities or meetings.

(2) Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, except where mandatory law provides otherwise, especially in cases of injury to life, body, or health.

§ 13 Changes to Terms

FUN FIX may update these terms when the service, legal requirements, or paid offerings change. Material changes will be published on this page.

§ 14 Final Provisions

German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. The place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Coburg, Germany.
