§ 1 General Information
This policy explains how happyfloat UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Bahnhofstr. 34, 96450 Coburg, email: contact-funfix@happyfloat.com, processes personal data in connection with the FUN FIX app and related services.
§ 2 Data We Collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process the following data:
- account data such as user ID, avatar, username, login method, and linked sign-in providers
- profile data such as first name, age, gender, languages, birth date, or profile text, if you provide it
- service data such as online status, recent activity, favorites, ratings, reports, support requests, chats, and interactions around matches or interest in suggestions
- region, place, and feature context data such as selected region and place suggestions or location-related inputs you actively use in the app
- device and app data such as device type, app version, crash reports, and technical diagnostics
- notification-related data such as push-permission status and push tokens, if you grant notification access
- purchase-related data such as subscription status, entitlements, token balances, purchase restoration results, and store-linked purchase state
- uploaded content such as images used for AI avatar generation and the generated avatar results
§ 3 Purposes of Processing
We process personal data to:
- create and manage user accounts
- provide matching, suggestions, expressions of interest, chats, favorites, pings, and related app features
- operate paid features, subscriptions, and token-based digital features
- prevent abuse, investigate reports, and keep the service safe
- analyze app stability and basic product usage
- provide support and respond to user requests
- operate AI-supported features requested by the user
§ 4 Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We share data with third parties only where necessary to operate the service, process a feature you request, comply with legal obligations, or protect the service.
Current processors and service providers may include, in particular:
- Firebase Authentication for account sign-in and account linking
- Firebase Storage for file uploads used by app features such as AI avatar generation
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics
- Simple Analytics for product-usage analytics
- RevenueCat for subscription validation, entitlements, and virtual-currency balances
- Apple and Google, including sign-in and app-store billing platforms, where you use those services
- Expo Notifications, APNs, and FCM for push-notification delivery
- OpenAI for AI avatar image processing and AI-supported matching
- Google AI model services for AI-supported suggestion-creation requests
- Cloudinary for storage and delivery of generated avatar images
- map and place providers such as Google Places or Google Maps where place-related features are used
FUN FIX does not receive your full payment-card data from Apple App Store or Google Play. The specific AI providers and model versions used for matching or other AI-supported features may change over time.
§ 5 Purchases, Subscriptions, and Tokens
When you buy, renew, restore, or use paid digital products, we process the data needed to unlock those features in the app. This may include subscription tier, entitlement status, token balances, and technical purchase results returned by the billing platform or RevenueCat.
Subscription restoration depends on the same Apple ID or Google account that was used for the purchase. Token balances are managed as app-linked digital balances and are used to provide the relevant digital features inside FUN FIX.
§ 6 AI-Supported Matching, Suggestion Creation, and Pseudonymization
(1) Matching uses automated systems and may include AI-supported processing where helpful for the product. User-requested AI flows that help create or refine suggestions may also use AI-supported processing.
(2) Where AI-supported matching is used, it currently relies on OpenAI-backed models, while AI-supported suggestion-creation requests currently rely on Google-backed models. The specific providers or model versions may change over time.
(3) For AI-supported matching and suggestion-creation requests, we do not directly send model providers private account data that directly identifies a person, or direct identifiers in plain form. Where a processing step does not require direct identity information, internal user IDs may be replaced by temporary labels and the transmitted data is reduced to the context needed for the relevant feature.
(4) We limit the data used in matching and AI-supported suggestion creation to what is needed for the relevant feature and service operation.
§ 7 AI Avatar Generation
If you use the AI avatar feature, the source image you provide is uploaded to Firebase Storage, processed through OpenAI to generate avatar variations, and the generated avatar results are stored and delivered through Cloudinary and our service systems. The specific model or provider used for this feature may change over time.
The source upload is deleted automatically after processing completes or fails. Generated avatar results remain available in your account until you delete them, delete your account, or they are otherwise no longer needed for the service.
§ 8 Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service, keep the service secure, handle support, operate paid features, or comply with legal obligations.
In practice, this means for example:
- account and profile data may remain until the account is deleted or no longer needed
- chats, matches, ratings, reports, and support records may remain as long as operationally necessary
- purchase and subscription records may remain as long as needed for billing-related support, entitlements, accounting, or legal obligations
- AI avatar source uploads are deleted after processing
- generated avatar results may remain until deleted by the user or no longer needed
§ 9 User Rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of personal data, or restriction or objection where applicable under law.

§ 10 Data Security
FUN FIX uses technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, authenticated service flows, and security measures appropriate to the current service setup.
§ 11 Changes to This Policy
FUN FIX may update this privacy policy when the product, service providers, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
